Rope Swings On The Saco River

As you paddle or float down the Saco River you’ll eventually come upon a few rope swings along the way. Typically designed by enthusiastic youths, these rope swings can be a blast to splash down into the water from.

Rrope swings on the Saco River are NOT maintained by Saco Canoe Rental Company. They are inherently risky and we recommend that you please use extreme caution if you choose to use them. They are not safe but have been along the river for decades.
